If you were to say that the Midget Reps were to win a championship at the start of the season, many people would have bet against it. However, the heart and soul of the Listowel Midget Reps was shown on home ice Thursday night as they overcame all odds to secure the OMHA title after being down 2-1.

A sluggish start, mid game regroup and a spectacular finish resulted in Listowel taking a 1-0 lead in the best of five final OMHA series.

After a slow start to the series with a 2-1 loss in Mount Brydges, the Midgets beared down for three straight wins to push them into the OMHA finals.

Three games, three wins. WOAA CHAMPS.

The Listowel Midget Rep Cyclones dominated the Kincardine Kinucks in games three and four to advance to OMHA quarter finals. After having split games one and two in Kincardine, the Midgets dug deep to play some of their best hockey of the season to create back to back wins finishing the series in game 4.
