Conclusion of Opening Round
The team finished the opening round of the playoffs the same way it began (just no more overtime needed) with 4 strong performances and 4 more wins. After getting by Howick 8-0 we hosted Durham on the Friday night. Another exciting and close game had us coming out on top 3-1.
After the weather canceled our Saturday game vs Howick we traveled to Harriston to play Minto on Monday night. Even with missing Matt on defense, Dominic filled in nicely and we managed to squeak out a 2-1 victory. the final round robin game was Wednesday in Howick and the kids came out with a 7-0 victory without giving up a shot on goal the whole game.
Now we are onto the finals against the other two group winners. We will have a home and home series with Goderich I and Wingham to determine the White Division Champion. Check the schedule often for game and practice times.
