Reps take 4 of 6 Points Last Week
The Midget Rep team earned wins over Blyth-Brussels and Saugeen Shores, before losing to Kincardine, in action over the past week.
A mid week game in Brussels saw the Reps make the most of their powerplay opportunities, beating the tough/gritty Blyth-Brussels squad 8-2. Steven Gottfried earned the win in net for the Cyclones, keeping the Bulldogs at bay.
On Saturday, the Reps ventured out on a bus trip to Southampton, to play the hard working Saugeen Shores team. While it was close all the way through, the Reps scored a couple of third period goals, to earn a 4-1 victory. Drew Anger played a solid game in goal and posted the win.
Sunday's game against the division leading Kincardine team did not go according to game plan, and ended in a 5-1 loss. The Kinucks made good on the Cyclone mistakes, and kept the team on it's heals with an agressive forecheck.
Next action for the Midget Reps is a tournament in Palmerston on Sat, Dec 15th, and then home on Sun, Dec 16th @ 8:15pm vs BCH.
