Peewee Rep, U13, 2015-2016 (Listowel Minor Hockey Association)

Last night the boys celebrated the much deserved All-Ontario Championship long into the night. Coach Ken and Katherine hosted yet another splendid get-together.

Listowel finished the 2016 International Silver Stick round robin match-ups in convincing style.  Beating Ilderton 5-0, Denver 4-1, and Lambeth 5-0.  In order to play in the Championship game on Sunday, Listowel had to get past Haliburton in the semi-final game late Saturday afternoon.

Congratulations to the players and coaching staff of the Peewee REP Cyclones on taking the Kincardine Regional Silver Stick title on December 30th.  All the boys worked extremely hard and showed a lot of heart.  They won 3 and tied 1 (against the Kincardine Kinucks, whom they would go on to play in the final) during round robin.

This past weekend had Listowel participating in the 60th Annual Mitchell Pee Wee Tournament.

The Listowel Pee Wee’s have had a busy start to the season thus far.  Their first big test was the St. Thomas tournament in the middle of October.  With wins over Amherstburg, Dorchester, and Uxbridge, and playing to draws against Guelph and St. Thomas, the boys made it to the finals to play Grimsby, who they eventually lost a nail-biter to a score of 3-2.
